Are you looking to take your first step into a finance career while earning a salary and gaining a recognised qualification?
Following the successful completion of our previous apprentice's AAT qualification, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Finance team in Henley-on-Thames.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical accounting experience while studying towards the AAT Level 2 qualification through an apprenticeship programme.
What You'll Do
Working alongside experienced finance professionals, you'll gain exposure to a wide range of accounting and finance activities, including:
- Processing sales and purchase ledger transactions
- Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Maintaining accurate financial records and data
- Reconciling cash, bank and supplier accounts
- Supporting month-end finance processes
- Using accounting software and financial systems
- Assisting with financial reporting and analysis
- Handling finance-related queries from colleagues and suppliers
- Performing bookkeeping and financial administration duties
- Ensuring financial records are accurate and compliant
The role is designed to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours expected of a Finance Assistant, including bookkeeping, data analysis, communication, organisation and attention to detail.

- Is eager to learn and develop new skills
- Has good numerical and analytical abilities
- Pays close attention to detail
- Has strong communication skills
- Is organised and reliable
- Can work effectively as part of a team
No previous finance experience is required. We're looking for potential, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
