  • About The Role

  • The Role

    Reporting into the Head of Marketing, and acting as their deputy when required, this role will lead, create and co-ordinate digital marketing strategies and campaigns. They will manage relationships with key senior stakeholders to ensure the activity meets the business need, is communicated in a timely manner and is reviewed to determine return on investment.

    This role is also accountable for leading and managing one direct report to deliver distinctive and stylish campaigns that drive customer engagement, increase brand awareness and support sales growth in our pubs and hotels.

    The Digital Marketing Manager will oversee all digital marketing initiatives within the estate; from websites, social, SEO and Adwords and responsible for coordinating all campaigns and major projects while collaborating cross functionally to ensure consistent brand messaging, customer acquisition and retention.

    This is a strategic leadership position that requires strong commercial, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry. Collaboration is an important part of the Brakspear culture, and this role must be able to work with their retail, operational, sales and finance colleagues to implement the wider Marketing strategy.

    The role is based our office in Henley-upon-Thames, with significant time also spent in our pubs and hotels.

    The Candidate

    • The presence and intellect to operate at a senior level combined with the drive and energy to truly influence the business.
    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
    • Proven experience (5+ years) in marketing roles, with a focus on the hospitality, food and drink industry. Multi-site experience is highly desirable.
    • Positivity, professionalism and high energy.
    • Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team and peers.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners, from front line colleagues to board members.
    • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Commercial with a data-driven and analytical mindset.
    • Experience of delivering successful cross channel campaigns.
    • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
    • Passion for food, drinks and the pub industry, with a solid understanding of customer preferences, trends, and the competitive landscape.
    • Action oriented and results driven. Wants to make a real difference.
