  • About Us

  • We have an exciting opportunity to join the Brakspear family as the People Advisor for our managed estate Honeycomb Houses.

At Brakspear, we’re passionate about great pubs and inns. Our family has been running pubs and inns for over 200 years. We’re lucky to have beautiful pubs but we think it’s the people, running the pubs who matter, and that means we do things differently at Brakspear. We are still family-owned and run, which means we make all our decisions for the long-term benefit of our company, our pub business owners and our guests.

Honeycomb Houses is born-and-bred from our parent company, Brakspear, which came to life all the way back in 1779. Each of our 12 houses stands independently with their own distinctive features and charm, while maintaining the high standards associated with Honeycomb Houses.

Working closely with operational managers across our 12 Honeycomb Houses and Head Office teams, you will provide expert HR guidance across a broad range of employee relations and people management matters. This is a highly visible, predominately field-based role where relationship building and coaching are key. The role is full time and reports into the Head of People.

The People Advisor will be based in our office at The Kings Head, Cirencester, which is close to our Houses in the Cotswolds, however being a field-based role, regular travel to our remaining Houses and Head Office in the Oxfordshire, Chiltern region will be required.
